The Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST) announced the Young Generation Forum (YGF) 2010 will be held in Korea from July 5 to 10, 2010. The YGF 2010 will bring 80 young generation from all over the world including U.S.A, Japan, Germany, Canada (8 participants), etc. as well as 40 young generation Koreans.

 

YGF seeks to promote young Korean scientists, engineers and specialists

(1) to contribute to the advancement in contemporary science and technology

(2) to understand the current scientific and technological development in Korea

(3) to establish cooperative networking.

 

Eligibility:

Ethnic Korean-Canadian student (Junior (3rd), Senior (4th), Graduate, Ph.D. or Post-Doc) under age of 35 (born after 1976) whose major is related to Science and Technology and can communicate in English. (Note: Korean citizen student temporary studying abroad is not eligible.)

Must be 1.5th (attended a Gr.9 in CANADA) or 2nd generations of Korean immigrants who are citizens or permanent resident of CANADA.

 

How to Apply:

-Complete application form 

-copy of CANADA passport (or Permanent Resident Card)

-most recent transcript (GPA convert to %)
